Natalie Sandbulte, Psy.D.

Natalie is a native of Northwest Iowa and has been serving children, adults, and families in the area for the past seven years. Natalie holds a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) Degree, both from Wheaton College. Natalie is a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider in the state of Iowa. 

Natalie specializes in psychological testing, with advanced training in diagnosing autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), trauma-related disorders, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, and personality disorders. 

Natalie is trained in several therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She has experience working with adolescents and adults with eating disorders, trauma issues, depression, anxiety, and adjustment issues. Natalie also enjoys working with couples and families.

Amy is a native of North Dakota and assisted troubled youth before coming to Northwest Iowa in 2016. Amy has been serving children, adults, and families in Northwest Iowa for the last 9 years. Amy has a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of South Dakota and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Iowa.

Amy specializes in working with teens and adults with trauma issues, grief, adjustment related disorders, anxiety, and depression. Amy is trained in elements of Synergetic Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Amy sees therapy as a joint venture where the client and therapist’s knowledge and skills are combined to create solutions.

Ciara Sweeney is a native of South Dakota and has been serving adults, children, and families in the area for 1½ years. Ciara has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South Dakota State University and is a Temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa.

Ciara has experience working with children and adolescents as well as young adults who have experienced abuse and trauma, anxiety, depression, challenging behaviors, adjustment disorders, and those seeking to explore their identity and goals.

Dawn Clements is a native of Alabama and has been serving children, adults, and families in Central Iowa for the past 2 years. Dawn holds a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa.

Dawn enjoys working with children and adults with trauma issues, grief, adjustment issues, anxiety, and depression. She is trained in several therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Social Learning Therapy, Lifespan Integration Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Hannah is a native of Northwest Iowa and is coming to Elevate after serving the past two years as a middle school counselor in the area. In this role, she worked closely with adolescents ages 10-14, alongside of her work with children and adults in a clinical setting. Hannah is excited to transition to a full-time mental health role to continue to serve clients of all ages from all stages of life in our communities.

Hannah received her undergraduate education at Iowa State University before going on to earn a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Waldorf University, a Master of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, also from Liberty University. Hannah has experience working with clients experiencing anxiety and depression, adjustment disorders, ADHD, and trauma.

Heather is a native of NW Iowa with her Masters Degree in School Counseling from Buena Vista University with licensure as a mental health counselor. Heather was an art teacher for 7 years and then an elementary school counselor for 8 years in Sheldon. Heather is excited to transition from the education setting to the mental health setting to continue to serve families and clients in the Sheldon area.

Heather has experience working with trauma, ADHD, anxiety, and depression in children and adults. Heather enjoys clients of all ages and stages of life and she has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. .

Jacque has experience in working with crisis services and individuals with suicidal ideation, substance use issues, and applied behavioral analysis with children who have Autism diagnosis. She is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST), Achieving Change Through Value Based Behavior (ACTV), and Acute Traumatic Incident Processing (A-TIP).

Jennifer Den Boer is a native of Northwest Iowa, and has been serving children, adults and families in the area for the past 3.5 years. Jennifer holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Iowa.

 Jennifer specializes in working with children through non-directive, and directive Play Therapy, and has experience working with adolescents, teens and adults with trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and ADHD. She is a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist, and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

Lindsay Obbink is a native of Northwest Iowa and has been serving adults, children, and families in the area for the past 12 years. Lindsay has a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa and is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Iowa.

Lindsay has experience working with individuals affected by violence and trauma, including domestic violence and sexual abuse. Lindsay has also worked with individuals struggling with suicidal ideation. Lindsay is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and is a Registered Trainer for ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training).

Mariah Laughlin, LMSW

Mariah is a native of Northwest Iowa and is coming to Elevate after spending four years in other areas of the Midwest, most recently in Pella, Iowa. Mariah has a Masters degree in social work from Dordt University and is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Iowa and the state of Wisconsin.

Mariah has experience working with children and adults in both a child welfare and therapeutic setting. Mariah is a person-centered therapist and enjoys meeting clients where they are. She has prior experience working with those who have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment related disorders.

Mariah will start seeing clients in Milford in November and will begin in our Orange City office in January.

Vanessa Jorgensen is a native of the Lakes Area and has been serving children, adults, and families in Northwest Iowa for 16 years. Vanessa holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Iowa.

Vanessa specializes in working with children with trauma issues, students with challenging behaviors within a school system, and individuals with disabilities. Vanessa is trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and emotional regulation and mindfulness strategies.

Gayle Conover

Gayle is often the first person our clients interact with when they enter our Milford location. Gayle has a wealth of experience in many different volunteer and paid positions in our area. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English and Religion from the University of Iowa and a Master's Degree in Literature from Wake Forest. Gayle has taught for BVU and ILCC and has been active in the Okoboji Schools PTA and her church.

Hadleigh Olson

Hadleigh is the first face to greet you in our Sheldon Office. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from South Dakota State University in Psychology with minors in mental health services, rehabilitation services, and human development and family studies. Hadleigh has previous experience working with kids in both volunteer and paid positions and is a Registered Behavior Technician.
