Annie Downing is a native of the Lakes Area and has over 20 years of experience working with children, adults, and families. Annie holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Iowa and a Registered Play Therapist.

Annie specializes in working with children and adults, trauma issues, grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, eating disorders, adjustment issues, anxiety, and depression. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Lifespan Integration Therapy.
